Where am I going wrong?

Other people have got it sorted. Fact.

Well, maybe it’s not a fact, but it sure seems that way from where I’m standing. It can’t just be me that looks at the people around me, friends, family, colleagues, and even the people who live inside my radio and tv, and think that they’ve got it sorted whilst I remain a bumbling mess just trying to get by.

I’m sure those people would say that they haven’t got it sorted… but they have. They are organised. They are never tired. They seem to find the time to work hard - achieving lots and getting things sorted - whilst still having time to socialise, do exciting things, read, maintain a blog (this is my first post in a month - I’m not good at that) plus eating well and healthily, and maintaining an enthusiasm for exercise… All the things that I never seem to find the time to do.

Time is a funny thing… In 2010, I made it my New Year’s Resolutions to have more time. It worked for a while, but it didn’t last. My idea was to seize the opportunities presented by little gaps of time between the things I have to do… Rather than thinking that there was no time to do anything because I only had 10 minutes, I would try and find something to fill that time - read a few pages of a book for example. But I lost my way with it and can’t seem to get it back.

I look at the well-composed people that surround me with envy… I wish I was as sorted as they are! If only I had the time to do it…..
